Tropical Skulls

Hoje é um dia especial, pois este é o centésimo post do All About Vanity! :D

O verniz escolhido para hoje foi o Kiko Sugar Mat 636, um menta azulado com um toque de neon que me fez apaixonar! Este verniz chegou-me às mãos através duma grande amiga, acompanhado de mais dois irmãos, o 642 e o 634! Este foi o meu primeiro textured sem brilhos, pelo que me parece que a sua rugosidade sobressai menos. No entanto é lindíssimo <3 Carimbei com a placa OB5 e o verniz stampy branco da Essence.

Today is a special day because this is the 100th post of All About Vanity! :D

Today's chosen polish was Kiko Sugar Mat 636, a blue-ish mint with a touch of neon that made me fall in love! This nail polish came to me from a dear friend of mine, accompanied by 2 other brothers, 642 and 634! This was my first time using a textured without glitter of any sort, and it seems that its texture is less noticeable. It's still gorgeous though <3 I stamped it with OB5 plate and Stampy white from Essence.

Usei as caveiras com ossos cruzados mais "simples", a grande e a pequena, do canto inferior direito!

I used the simplest skulls and crossed bones, the bigger and the smaller one, from the bottom right corner! This plate was bought on my dear partner store, Feirinha dos Sorrisos/Luxos Baratuxos (check the blog sidebar to see her page!)

Holo, glitter and bows

Olá meninas!

Hoje trago-vos uma mani feita com uma das minhas misturas! Não tem nome, mas combina imenso comigo xD Como ela já tem o brilho holo e é um pouco neon ao sol, decidi manter as coisas simples e carimbar um pequeno lacinho da placa BM-317 com um brilhante de strass no centro!

Aqui vão as fotos, antes e depois do carimbo e do brilhante :D

Preparem-se porque são imensas fotos, esta mistura é um camaleão e os brilhos são difíceis de apanhar! Precisou apenas de 2 camadas para ficar opaca e o top coat usado foi o BTGN da essence como sempre :)

Today I bring you a mani made with one of my franken nail polishes! It's still unnamed but really matches me xD Seeing as it has holo gritter already and is a bit neon in the sun, I've decided to keep things simples and stamp a little bow from the BM-317 plate with a strass piece in the middle!

Here go the pics, before and after the stamping and strass :D

Be ready because there are a lot of pics, this franken is a chameleon and the glitter is hard to catch! It needed only 2 coats to be opaque and the top coat I've used was BTGN from essense as always :)

Cutie Claws

Olá meninas!

O post de hoje traz-vos imagens do meu novo formato de unhas! Quem me conhece sabe que primo por ser diferente e até extravagante, e as minhas unhas raramente fogem a esse tsunami! Há uns dias estava farta de unhas squoval e andava a ver novos formatos. Deparei-me com o formato de amêndoa e gostei, mas tinha medo que me ficasse mal! Ontem quando cheguei a casa vi que o canto do indicador direito tinha lascado exactamente com a forma de amêndoa, então peguei na lima e comecei a levar tudo pelo mesmo caminho! De início, tive medo que ficasse mal, mas acho que gosto bastante!

Para combinar com o novo formato, decidi fazer um tipo pouco usual de unhas francesas, o coração!

Escolhi um lilás mortinho da claire's (sem número) para a base, e novamente (à terceira é de vez) o CG Beach Cruise-r para as pontas! Aqui vão as fotos :)

Today's posts brings you my new nail shape! Those who know me also know that I strive to be different and even extravagant, and my nails don't stray far along from that tsunami! A few days ago I was feeling bored with squoval nails and had been seeing new shapes. I saw the almond shape and liked it but was really afraid it'd look bad! Yesterday when I came home, I saw that my right index finger had broken up a corner, and it kind of looked almond shape so I grabbed the file and started making them all alike!

In the beggining I was scared it'd go awfully wrong but now I think I really like them!

To go with the new shape, I decided to make an unusual french mani type, the heart!

I chose a lilac, bit "dead", from claire's (no number) for the base, and again (third time's the charm) CG Beach Cruise-r for the tips! Here are the pics :)

Neon Colorblock

A manicure de hoje é uma primeira vez para mim: colorblock!

Nunca tinha feito! E, da maneira que isto saiu na minha mão direita, tão cedo não volto a fazer! Aliás, estive para tirar tudo porque já me estava a passar com a fita, que de preta passou a prateada, e o BTGN fez bolhas num dos dedos. Mas como adoro as cores neon, decidi deixar ficar. 

Os vernizes que usei foram dois China Glaze, o Turned Up Turquoise e o Beach Cruise-r. O Turned Up Turquoise não me parece nada turquoise 90% do tempo, ao vivo, mas pronto xD

Today's mani is a first for me: colorblock!

I had never done it! And, by how the other ring finger turned out, I won't so soon! In fact, I was about to take everything off because I was getting upset by the nail art stipy thing (went from black to silver), and the top coat made bubbles in one of the fingers. But seeing as I adore neon colors, I've decided to let it stay.

The polishes I've used were two China Glaze, Turned Up Turquoise and Beach Cruise'r. Turned Up Turquoise doesn't seem so turquoise to me 90% of the time, but okay xD
